Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
- Man the reception, handle enquiries, and ensure coverage during lunch times.
- Manage daily post (receiving and sending).
- Maintain and update contact databases.
- Keep daily attendance records, follow up on absentees, and update the daily diary.
- Collect lunch monies, note special meal requirements, and communicate with catering staff.
- Produce and distribute weekly menus in collaboration with cooks.
- Ensure medications are securely recorded and stored.
- Provide secretarial services including correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare monthly salaries, manage PAYE, National Insurance, and staff pensions.
- Handle petty cash transactions, banking, and maintain financial records.
 
						  
							 
                    						 
							 
For this role you would need:
 
-  Maths and English to at least GCSE level. 
- A working knowledge of Sage, Office and other business applications. 
- An understanding of and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as to work as a part of the team.
- Flexibility, commitment and reliability.
- Business administration qualification and experience preferred.
- Experience of people with learning disabilities and associated conditions, and an interest in the issues that they face also preferred.
- Good communication skills, a pleasant, welcoming and professional manner on the telephone and in person are vital.
