Build strong working relationships and play a crucial role in enabling individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Job duties include but not limited to:
Companionship
- Provide emotional support to clients by engaging in conversation,
- Playing games or accompanying them on walks and outings
Meal Preparation
- Prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with feeding and encourage hydration throughout the day
Mobility Assistance
- Help clients with mobility limitations to move around safely
- Transferring from bed to chair,
- Use mobility aids such as wheelchairs when required
· Medication Management
- Assist clients with medication administration according to prescribed schedules
- Maintain accurate records of medications administered.
· Light Domestic Duties
- Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry
- Ensure that living spaces are tidy and organized.
· Personal Care
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, showering, grooming, and toileting.
- Maintain client’s dignity and privacy while providing support
