Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield are looking for new Care Professionals to join our successful team. We support older people in their own homes to remain healthy, happy and independent and pride ourselves on our relationships with people receiving care and support.

- You will be given Award Winning Training, comprising of e-learning modules that can be completed in your own home together with in-house workshops leading to, on successful completion, a nationally recognised Certificate in Care.

- It can be extremely hard to start a career when you have children but we aim to encourage the growth of all our care professionals - even those working part-time hours.
Our care professionals visit people in their own homes for a minimum of one hour and you will be required to:
- Assist the individuals with personal care (helping to wash and dress, home help duties (light housework),
- Companionship (keeping the individuals company or taking them to social events).
- At Home Instead we will ensure that you are fully trained, matched with people so you have interests in common, and given all the help and support you require when supporting and assisting your clients.
Each person is an individual and has specific and individual needs, so there is no time to get bored, each visit differs from the last.
- We do require all of our care professionals to live locally and we cover WGC, Hatfield, Potters Bar & Borehamwood and surrounding villages.
- We do insist that all care professionals have their own car - essential because we visit people in their own homes and travel between people daily.
- We also require all staff members to work a weekend shift on alternate weekends.
- We undertake to fully train all of our care professionals and offer continuous professional development.
- We are now seeking people who can offer us a minimum of 3 hours daily x 4 days per week including a Saturday and Sunday for one of our evening shifts.
