- To work as a support worker (sometimes known as a care assistant/healthcare worker) for our patients with the support of senior staff.
- To undertake aspects of care with or without direct supervision, including hosting recreational and activity groups, carrying out personal care, observations and escorting duties, such as general hospital visits, trip to supermarkets etc.
- To ensure the safety and well-being of patients, and to always work in a manner that promotes dignity through the adoption of person-centred care principles.
 
Please note: all training and team meetings will take place during day shift hours.
 
						  
							 
                    						 
							 
Desirable skills:
- Experience working with mental health within a similar setting
- Positive can do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Previously completed Control and Restraint training within the last 12 months or willing to complete a face to face course
- Ability to undertake physical tasks involving patient care
