What does this Care Assistant job involve?

 

Some general responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and emotional support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and medication management
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide companionship and socialisation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and on outings
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members as needed
  • Document daily activities and any changes in the client's health or behaviour in the client's care plan
