Delava Care is a small Supported Living service offering 24 hour care for people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. We provide a kind and caring environment for the people we support, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives as independently as possible.
We require a new team member who has a willingness to learn and complete an induction, as well as any necessary further training. Punctuality and reliability is an important part of the role, as well as being adaptable and having a strong team spirit. Essential characteristics are being kind, patient, trustworthy and having good communication skills.
- Staff enjoy working in a small setting where they can quickly build positive relationships with the individuals they support, and are able to deliver a high standard of care.
- Support workers will enjoy very pleasant working conditions in a clean and homely environment.
- Staff receive extensive training and the opportunity for personal development.
- New team members are fully supported by more experienced staff, and will receive regular supervision.
- All staff, however experienced, have the full support of the Manager who is readily available.
