We at Hightown Housing currently have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker at our supported living service, Oxleys Road in Stevenage. W are dedicated to supporting adults with mental health concerns, helping them develop the skills needed to live independently and safely within the wider community. What does this Support Worker job involve?

 

  • Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to develop and maximise their independence. This may involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets everyone’s needs
  • Support their aspirations and maximise their independence
