Activity based support calls, including the planning of, booking and attending activities. All support calls are mainly based within the Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire areas.

What does this Care Assistant job involve?

 

 

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in line with individual care plans to help achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Assist clients with mobility, physical disabilities, and use of equipment (e.g., hoists, assistive technology) as required.
  • Support clients in understanding their care and treatment options, promoting informed choices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and professionals, and report significant changes in health or support needs.
  • Participate in care reviews by sharing insights from direct support experience to help shape future care planning.
  • Promote safeguarding by identifying risks of abuse, responding appropriately to concerns, and following company policies.
  • Administer or assist with medication safely, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Report incidents, risks, or equipment faults, and follow health and safety procedures including infection control measures.

 

Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?

 

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year UK homecare experience
  • Must drive with a UK license and own car.
