Physical Disability, Dual Diagnosis, Acquired Brain Injuries, Behaviours that are deemed to be challenging, Female Only Provision, EUPD Support, Forensic Support, Long-term Support and Respite Service.

What does this Support Worker job involve?

 

  • Ensure best practice in service delivery across all areas of responsibility.
  • Support Shift Lead and Tenants in completing support plans and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and administer medication competently.
  • Conduct and document weekly safety and maintenance checks, taking appropriate action.
  • Facilitate individual and group activities that promote meaningful engagement and a valued lifestyle.
  • Assist Tenants with attending professional appointments and accessing community resources.
  • Promote independence by supporting daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, clothing, and household tasks.
  • Liaise regularly with Tenants’ families, friends, advocates, and professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Uphold safeguarding standards in line with local policies and complete bi-weekly key working sessions.
  • Maintain a clean living environment and complete daily cleaning schedules.
