We also provide specific Occupational Therapy rehabilitation programmes, working with individuals to regain lost skills or develop new skills.

What does this Care Assistant job involve?

 

  • To work with people in their own home and implement a care plan to assist with personal care such as bathing, toileting and dressing
  • Meal preparation and assistance with eating.
  • To promote and ensure high standards of care in accordance with Care Standards.
  • To  provide excellent care to people with physical and cognitive disabilities so that the person is able to continue living at home
  • To promote and provide high standards of care and support taking into account the person's physical, mental, social and cultural needs
  • Ensure the person is at the center of decision making and involve other family members and stakeholders where appropriate.
