What does this Care Assistant job involve?

 

Day-to-day duties include:

 

  • Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with their daily activities, promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
  • Assisting with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, emotional support, and community activities.
  • Carers also follow care plans, maintain accurate records, report concerns, and work closely with the team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people they support.
