Abbington House is a private residential rehab in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, where treatment takes place in a calm, contained setting. The house is intentionally small, allowing care to stay personal. From the moment someone arrives, there is space to settle, steady themselves, and begin again without noise or pressure.
As a residential setting, Abbington House provides structured, supervised care throughout the early stages of recovery, including medically supervised detox where appropriate. Medical oversight is available on site, with care adapted to each individual and reviewed throughout their stay.
The focus is on safety, stability, and consistency.
At Abbington House, we believe that a strong, compassionate team creates the safest and most effective environment for recovery. Whether you’re a therapist, support worker, chef or administrator.
We’re a close-knit team that values compassion, integrity and teamwork – qualities that make a real difference in a recovery environment. Our clinic is a place where people are treated with respect and care, staff included.
