Hightown is a charitable housing association operating principally in Hertfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. We believe everyone should have a home and the support they need, so our aim is to build new homes and to provide excellent housing and support.

We currently manage over 9,300 homes and employ over 1,000 full and part time staff from our head office in Hemel Hempstead. We have an annual turnover of £120 million and a development programme that will deliver around 450 new affordable homes each year.

As a Housing First Co-ordinator, you will lead the delivery of our Housing First programme, ensuring individuals with complex needs are supported to maintain tenancies and improve their quality of life. You will be responsible for coordinating a multi-agency support approach, managing a small team (if applicable), and ensuring that the Housing First principles are embedded in everyday practice.

This is a key role in ensuring that people are offered stable housing and the right support, in the right place, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate support for individuals with complex needs who are transitioning into and maintaining housing
• Work collaboratively with partners including health, social care, substance use services, and housing providers
• Uphold the principles of Housing First: choice, harm reduction, and person-centred support
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of support interventions
• Provide guidance and supervision to support staff or peer mentors (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with organisational and funder requirements

About You:

• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness or complex needs
• Strong understanding of the Housing First model and trauma-informed practice
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and partnership-working skills
• Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to equality, dignity, and empowering vulnerable individuals
