Robin Hood House is a small 22 bed residential care home for older people including those with a dementia diagnosis. We believe in creating comfort and a home away from home for the people residing there and are looking for an alternate weekend cook to compliment our team.

Day to day duties of this alternate weekend position include:
- Cooking two choices of main meals per day and creating a show plate of each for those that may be confused by dementia so that they may make an informed choice.
- General cleaning and check lists of the kitchen prep area.
- Baking cakes and preparation of snacks for residents to enjoy throughout the day.
- Ensuring allergen exclusions are adhered to and completing a mealtime experience form to ensure we obtain observed feedback from our residents.

- Care and empathy for the people residing at Robin Hood House is a must.
- Knowledge and experience of a cook position in a care home or similar is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of the safer food better business guidelines would be an advantage.
