What does this Live-In Carer job involve?

 

As a Live-In CAREGiver, you will live in a client’s home and provide a range of non-medical support services to help them remain independent and comfortable in their own home.

 

  • Personal Care – Support our clients with their care needs in line with their individual care plans.
  • Companionship – Build professional relationships with clients, assisting with their emotional, social and spiritual needs whilst encouraging independence and choice.
  • Daily Living – Supporting clients with going about their daily life, from support with medication, or preparing meals, to helping keep well.

 

Am I the right person for this Live-In Carer job?

 

The ideal candidate will:

Previous experience is preferred, however full training is provided. Experience in a care setting or supporting older people would be beneficial. This could include caring for a family member or voluntary work.

 

Additional Information:

As a Live-In Care Professional, you will be provided with three meals a day or a meal allowance from the client, a separate room to stay in, and access to TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and ongoing support.
