We are looking for a competent General Maintenance Engineer to join our central maintenance team at Benslow Nursing Home in Hitchin (as a base).

What does this Maintenance Engineer job involve?

 

  • Completing checks and works as required, covering:
    • Health and Safety
    • Fire Safety
    • General day to day maintenance tasks
    • Rolling redecoration plan for the homes  
  • Lone working
  • Working as a team with one other team member on projects.
  • You will take the lead of health and safety works, reporting to the Registered Manager on site.

 

Your overall line manager will be the Operations Director.

 

Am I the right person for this Maintenance Engineer job?

 

  • At least five years of engineering experience for this role.  
  • The work will be based in care homes and will require your understanding of our residents' needs and how we must keep them safe at all times.
