We are looking for someone for the role of Multi-Skilled Operative (Maintenance Operative).
Working as part of the PALS team at our Delrow Community (Watford), you will be providing a high-quality general repairs service in various properties and the wider repairs and servicing team as required.
An overview of duties:
- Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work to achieve right first-time and provide outstanding customer service
- Ensure all work is correctly recorded to contribute to the financial viability of the responsive repairs service
- Maintain effective communication with your Line Manager and management, and adopt a flexible approach to work within a multi-skilled environment
- Prioritise safety by complying with safe methods of work, using equipment safely, contributing to risk assessments, and reporting incidents and accidents
- Provide excellent customer service while working as part of the wider maintenance team to deliver an efficient service to the clients
Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of general property maintenance
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and requirements
- An awareness of the needs of people who use our services
Competencies:
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility with regards to working unsociable and additional hours as necessary
- Flexibility to travel if required
- Ability to forward plan

Qualifications and Licences:
- Full, clean driving licence
- Satisfactory standard DBS check (we will complete this)
