About the Company

We are a home-care, live-in care and home dementia care and respite care provider, working across Hitchin to Royston to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We understand that many people would prefer to receive care at home, rather than facing the uncertainty and upheaval of going into a care home. That’s why we’ve been working hard to support our clients to live independent and fulfilling lives in their own homes, surrounded by the people and things they love.

We have provided our services for more than 8 years and have grown a deep understanding of how to deliver person-centred care that fits the needs of the individual, working closely with them to find a carer who is exactly the right match for them.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN to support our growing complex domiciliary care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident nurse who enjoys autonomy, professional responsibility, and working closely with care teams in the community.

You will provide clinical oversight and support to individuals with complex needs living in their own homes. Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will help ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care delivery.

Why should I apply for this Registered General Nurse job?

  • We ensure our staff are well-trained and that they buy into our culture of good care, compassion, respect and dignity
  • Yearly mandatory training renewals as well as extra training provided.
  • Company Pension scheme
  • Care Academy Benefits - Highstreet discounts and many more!

What does this Registered General Nurse job involve?

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-support clinical assessments for new service users
  • Provide clinical supervision to care staff
  • Carry out observational supervision in the community
  • Deliver and support clinical training for carers
  • Ensure care delivery aligns with best practice, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support competency assessments and skills sign-off
  •  Contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical governance
  • Liaise appropriately with families and professionals where required.

Am I the right person for this Registered General Nurse job?

Essential:

  • Two years experience working in a complex care environment, either in the community or in a general hospital
  • Active NMC registration (RGN)
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability
  • IT literate, including experience with electronic care planning systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  •  Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Professional, reliable, and highly organised.

Personal qualities:

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Honest, dependable, and hard-working
  • Committed to high standards of care and safeguarding.
