We provide care to people in their own homes supporting them to live their lives to the fullest and realise their own potential. A tailored Support Plan to meet specific needs will help achieve this. We are expanding, therefore we are looking to increase our team. We have several new customers who require someone to accompany them to a day service in Hatfield a couple of times a week.

What does this Community Outreach Worker job involve?

 

  • You will meet our customer at the Day Service Facility and stay with them for the duration.
  • You will assist them in interacting with others and encourage to take part in activities and joining in.
  • The customers may also need regular support with responding to their personal correspondence and may from time to time, need support with shopping and other regular errands.

 

 

Am I the right person for this Community Outreach Worker job?

 

Without support, our customers do not have the confidence to participate in group activities, therefore this is a vital lifeline for them to develop their social skills.

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care to vulnerable people in our community. You will be empathetic and be able to use your initiative when working alone with our customers. You will need to write case notes, therefore a good understanding of English is essential and you should be computer literate. We would prefer someone who has previous experience, but this is not essential, as training is given.
