Highbury Rise is a small residential Care Home, registered for up to 23 residents. The home has 21 single rooms and 1 double. Highbury rise is part of the Benslow Group of 3 Care Homes, established in 1982.
The home is set in the centre of Hitchin with great road and rail links. Situated on a quiet residential street, in a large home from home style Edwardian house, which means our residents, most of whom are living with dementia, are able to lead a peaceful life. We believe that good quality care is delivered through a combination of well organised systems, a willingness to share ideas & learn from others and a strong ethical framework.

As part of the management team:
- You will support the home manager to undertake quality assurance audits and maintain the highest quality of care delivery.
- You will administer medication and coach and mentor the senior team in the application of safe practice.
- You will undertake supervisions, appraisals and development of the team.
- You will work in partnership with all stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with same.
- You will complete statutory notifications and promote an open transparent culture.
- Work a day shift pattern of 3 x long day one week, 4 x long day the next including one weekend in two, whilst coaching and mentoring the teams you work with.
For this role you will need to have:
- Minimum level 3 in Health and Social Care and willing to train to level 4.
- Minimum two years experience working within a residential Care Home for older people and/or as a Field Care Supervisor for community care.
