What does this Registered Manager job involve?

 

  • Oversee activities to ensure service quality aligns with Standards for Quality and Safety and organisational policies.
  • Report policy breaches, incidents, and safeguarding concerns, briefing the service management team.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and appraisal for compliance with service delivery requirements.
  • Conduct periodic staff meetings and maintain records as per company policy.
  • Adhere to and update company policies, embedding them into organisational practices.
  • Support the registered owner in service oversight, ensuring conformity in audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement sound business practices, monitor performance within the budget, and adhere to workplace legislation.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and act as the person in charge when required by the registered owner.

  • Skilled in managing dispersed staff teams and has over three years' senior management experience.

  • Proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Collaborated closely with Hertfordshire County Council and other local authorities.
  • Holds Level 5 qualification in leadership and management.
  • Immediate availability, willingness to travel, and adept at managing multiple operational sites.
