We are looking for a Senior Night Care Assistant to be accountable for the home and the residents, who will create a calm and secure atmosphere throughout the night. Ensuring regular checks according to each resident’s individual needs, and leading the team on the floor.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carry out care and cleaning duties throughout the waking night shift, ensuring the home runs safely and efficiently in the absence of senior management
Follow the home’s contingency and emergency procedures, and lead walking handovers to ensure all residents are accounted for at the start and end of each shift
Promote the company’s values of Commitment, Connection and Compassion, leading by example and supporting staff to uphold these standards
Support staff training and development, contributing to the delivery and monitoring of the in?house training programme
Provide high?quality personal care with dignity and respect, supporting residents’ independence and use of the environment in line with their care plans
Observe, record and report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional or psychological wellbeing, including nutrition, weight monitoring and skin integrity
Liaise with external professionals, implement required actions, and maintain accurate documentation using the Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) system
Administer, record and store medication safely in line with company policies
Welcome visitors and professionals, assist with assessments, admissions and the ongoing review of care plans
Attend staff meetings, training, supervisions and appraisals, and support compliance with safeguarding, CQC requirements, Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures
