We are seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to support the Home Manager, Deputy and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the home’s management, while supporting residents with personal care, and ensuring the training and development of staff.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carry out care and cleaning duties throughout the waking night shift, following residents’ individual care plans and the company’s values of Commitment, Connection and Compassion
Support the Manager, Deputy and Assistant Manager in the smooth running of the home, including understanding contingency and emergency procedures
Lead walking handovers, ensure all residents are accounted for, and set a positive example to maintain an efficient, supportive atmosphere
Provide high?quality personal care with dignity and respect, supporting independence, mobility needs and appropriate use of personal aids
Observe, record and report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional or psychological wellbeing, including nutrition, weight monitoring and skin integrity
Support staff training and development, helping deliver and monitor the in?house training programme and encouraging best practice
Liaise with external professionals, implement required actions, and maintain accurate documentation using the Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) system
Administer, record and store medication safely in line with company policies
Welcome visitors, families and professionals, assist with assessments and admissions, and contribute to the review and development of care plans
Attend staff meetings, training, supervisions and appraisals, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, CQC requirements, Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems
