What does this Field Care Supervisor job involve?

 

  • Drive business growth by accepting referrals and building strong relationships with clients, carers, and local health partners.
  • Lead, train, and support carers, ensuring supervision, feedback, and compliance with CQC standards.
  • Conduct client assessments, risk reviews, and create bespoke care plans that are regularly updated.
  • Liaise with medical professionals and families to ensure safe, person?centred care delivery.
  • Monitor staff performance through appraisals, observations, and identifying training needs.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints, incidents, or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit?ready files in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver and support training, staying up to date with industry and CQC requirements.
  • Ensure quality monitoring, health & safety compliance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Represent the service professionally in meetings, case conferences, and the wider community.

Am I the right person for this Field Care Supervisor job?

 

  • QCF Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care and/or NVQ4 in Management (ideal).
  • Solid experience in care home or homecare, with strong knowledge of CQC regulations.
  • Skilled in writing person?centred care plans, conducting assessments, and staff supervisions.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in (or willingness to learn) delivering mandatory training.
  • Strong customer care, confidentiality awareness, and sound judgement.
  • Professional, reliable, team?focused, and mobile.
  • Good IT skills, including databases and digital care systems.
